Even though I blog mostly about my little babe and exercise, I always feel that it’s important to take a step back from all of that and remember that I’m a lady, and I like to feel pampered and pretty. One of my all time favorite ways to spoil myself is a good old fashioned face mask. I have yet to meet one female who does not appreciate a good invigorating face mask, especially one that leaves your face feeling soft and fresh. LOVE. For me, I have super sensitive skin and I always have. Anything with ingredients that I can barely pronounce just never works for me; it leaves my skin irritated and itchy.
So when I find a product that loves my skin, you better believe I will rave about it for life. This Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay mask is incredible. The best thing about it? It has one (that’s right, only one) beautiful, natural ingredient called calcium bentonite clay. And a flower child like me absolutely loves that. Basically it’s a deep pore cleanser that leaves your face pulsing…weird I know. So start by mixing it up with some apple cider vinegar until it’s paste like; then slap it on your face. You’ll know it’s time to take the mask off when you can no longer move any part of your face; it hardens up and extracts the blackheads right out of your skin (so satisfying to think about). Wash it off, and then stroke your newly soft face. Oh and don’t freak out, but your skin will turn bright red wherever you put it, but only for about 10-20 minutes afterwards. So no, you’re not having an allergic reaction. You're skin will pulse as the new blood rushes to the surface after being constricted by the mask for awhile. Again, nothing to freak out about.
Probably the best perk of the whole aspect of this beautification product? $10 for one whole pound. It lasts forever guys, I can’t tell you how much I love it. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. Take pictures, test it out, and tell me if you like it or if you don’t and why. I’m curious if I’m the only one having a love affair with this product.
